Sam has a PhD in biochemistry and cell biology, and he fuses his fundamental understanding of biological processes that he learned during his time as a research scientist to an in depth knowledge of sport, movement and training.
Sam established Strata Performance to help like-minded souls build the strength and robustness needed to be athletic in the outdoors year after year. His previous experience training for various sports while working in busy, time-poor, stressful non-sporting jobs gives him a unique understanding into how to fit effective training into the demands of hectic modern life.
Sam is a Level 4 Strength and Conditioning coach, a British Weightlifting Level 1 coach, a UKSCA associate member and a Level 3 Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer.
